Subhodeep Jash is a Class of 2018 Master of Public Policy Candidate at the Hertie School of Governance. His primary interests lie in digital governance and foreign affairs. He is presently writing his master’s thesis on ‘Internet Controls in Non-Authoritarian Contexts: A Cross Country Case Analysis of Internet Shutdowns in India and Brazil’. His inter-sectoral professional experience spans a one-year period at the Ministry of Commerce and Industry in India where he worked on World Trade Organization (WTO) negotiations, and four years with Dua Consulting, a public affairs firm based in New Delhi on advocacy programs for USIBC member companies.He is also a trivia geek who likes to participate as well as conduct pub quizzes.
