Steven is the M&E Manager and acting Communications Manager at Roia, a small Syrian NGO working to harness the power of ICT for positive social impact.

A background in international affairs, peacebuilding and development, Steven's work has taken him around the world for several different research centres, think tanks and NGOs including The Inclusive Peace and Transition Initiative, The Centre for Humanitarian Diplomacy, and No Peace Without Justice.

Reflecting his diverse interests, Steven has had pieces on Women, Peace and Security, Syria, and the dynamics of the humanitarian system appear in several outlets, from the LA Times to Confluences Méditerannée.

He holds an MA from Institut de Hautes Etudes Internationales et du Développement (IHEID) in Geneva, Switzerland.
