Brett is the Executive Director of Access Now, defending and extending the digital rights of users at risk around the world. By combining innovative policy, global advocacy, and direct technical support, RightsCon and grant-making, Access Now fights for human rights in the digital age. Brett is the founder of RightsCon, Access Now's Annual Summit on the internet and human rights. Before Access Now, Brett honed his skills at GetUp, Oxfam Australia, and Amnesty International Australia. Brett has a Bachelors in Arts and Law and a Masters in International Law, and sits on the Board of AllOut.
