Josje Spierings is project leader at Leiden University’s Centre for Innovation, where she works on project design and delivery in the HumanityX program.

She is head of the Secretariat of the International Data Responsibility Group (IDRG) which provides actionable evidence on how to maximize value of data while preventing harm to vulnerable people.

She has experience with open source software designed to support international development partnership networks, and make cooperation and aid activity more effective and transparent.
