What have we learned from studying 5 years of Internet Disruptions in Africa?

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

CIPIT, a research center at Strathmore University, Kenya, has conducted a 10 month study on Internet shutdowns in Africa, drawing from a 5 year dataset (2012 - 2017). This session will share the research findings with the wider Internet business and freedom community.

Being a round-table, we plan to make a presentation on key findings, open up for comments from round-table participants and deliberate on how the next 5 years research and advocacy on Internet connectivity will likely look like.
