My First Transparency Report

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

This session brings together industry participants from local companies with responsibility for consumers’ personal information, some of whom have built out transparency reports, and some of whom have yet to — along with privacy activists and researchers who’ve been involved in the area.  We’ll explore four questions.  First, how did industry participants get to where they've gotten on transparency?  Second, what would the folks responsible for considering whether and how to report do differently?  Third, what's changed since publication, for those who published?  Fourth, how would industry-wide standards help or harm these efforts as we hurdle towards an interoperable, omniscient-sensor-seeded cloud of connected devices, things, and services?
