Organizational Security for Organization Leaders

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

Organizational security, as a term and concept, has become more and
more prevalent in the digital security conversation. But, there is
confusion around what an organizational security audit/assessment
will provide for the organization itself. Part of the issue is the
lack of clarity around an assessment versus audit and the value of
each.

During the discussion, we will go over some of the basic concepts of
organizational security as it applies to organizational leaders who
are looking into hiring a consultant. We will talk about why
organizational security is important and why the organizational
leadership should be involved, the difference between assessments and
audits, and how to develop an effective TOR/SOW.

The co-facilitators will base the conversation around their
experiences and the experiences of the organizational leaders in the
room. They will start with some leading questions to foster discussion
and plan to move into a general Q&A time for organizational leaders to
ask questions of organizational security consultants.
