In this world of digital disruption, free expression and the public's right to honest information require strong empowered civil society defenders. But in Canada, like many places elsewhere, dedicated groups are struggling for resources and sometimes in competition with each other. In this session, we will share some of the strengths and dilemmas of our free expression and digital rights movement here in Canada and throw the floor open to discuss ideas and new tools that could be used to foster a powerful sector.
