Project Officer
Catherine Kent is the Project Officer for the Human Rights, Big Data and Technology Project at Essex University's Human Rights Centre. She holds degrees from the University of Nottingham (LLB (hons) 2009) and the University of Essex (LLM 2014). Her research interests are in the fields of international human rights and humanitarian law, particularly the use of big data, AI and associated technology for the protection and promotion of human rights, including within humanitarian and UN peacekeeping contexts.
